Default Lifting everyday

It seems like if I don't do something in the gym everyday (at least during the week) it fucks my whole week up. Do any of you think it is bad to do this. I have never had any signs of over-training. Here is what I do. Any feedback is much appreciated.

Monday:
Chest 9 sets reps are 6 to 8
Shoulders (light day) 2 or 3 sets of 12 (just to get a pump)
Abs (sit-ups and crunches)

Tuesday:
Back 9 or 10 sets reps are 8 to 12
Arms (light day) 2 or 3 sets of 12 (supersets)
Weighted decline sit-ups 8 sets of 8

Wednesday
Legs 9 or 10 sets reps are 6 to 12
Deadlifts 3 sets of 8
Shrugs 5 or 6 sets reps are 10 to 15
Calves

Thursday
Shoulders 9 or 10 sets reps are 6 to 8
Chest (light day) 2 or 3 sets just to get a pump
Abs (sit-ups and crunches)

Friday
Bi's and tri's 6 to 8 sets reps are 8 to 12
Back (light day) 2 or 3 sets of 12 just to get a pump
Weight decline sit-ups 8 sets of 8

Sat and Sun I take off.

i do a 5 on 2 off training split similar to yours.
it seems to be working for me.

I plan everything around my workouts. Esp my meals. It just makes my day more organized. If I don't lift it seems like my day is screwed. I tried doing a two day on and one day off split but I just hated it.

the bulgarians and rusians, the mos feared lifters in the wolrd, are know for lifting everyday of the week. as long as you controll the volume, like you seem to be, it works. i used to have weeks where i squatted 10-12 times, its all about controlling the volume and intensity.

hey i guess most of us are so used to it that it kinda becomes a realllllllllllllllly important part of our day. (AND IT SURE IS!!!) I get really bored and irritated when i have to take time off... even if its bcoz of an injury.. the fact that i'm not in there doing something gets to me..

how did u pull of doing squats 10-12 times a week?? does it help with anything? Really curios to know..

AM and PM workouts. sets of 2-3 reps at about 70-75% of max. using that intensity you'll almost always pretty fresh. great for strength. when i was training i found this to be true: train as often as possible as fresh as possible. thats not to say these arent hard workout, you just dont go balls out on all lifts. you never get sore either. my former boss was an alternate on the oly team back in the early 80's. i learned a lot of little secrets.
