Default Workout Time Change

I had to change my normal workout time from 6pm to 6am due to work scheduling conflicts, however, I'm not a morning person at all. Can anyone recommend a good 'wake me up' product that won't give me the jitters and the nautious feeling. Cup of coffee just isn't getting me going enough..Props.

other than ephedrine or l-tyrosine not much else..

do u eat before hand???

i can't train in morning very well either... here's some tricks...

an hour before leaving... set alarm AND have it so your light comes on as well.... have your pre workout meal by bed.....eat it with some ala, and even no2 (to help get pumps).... go back to bed for 15 minutes.... now i take ephedrine/caffeiene with this first meal as well..... chug 500ml or more of water as well...

if this wont do it well i don't know wht else...perhaps 10 minutes really light cardio to get blood flowing as well..

makes an energy drink that's pretty powerful. They actually make two of 'em, I've tried the one that comes in the larger can. It doesn't make a big impact on me, but I have a prescrition for Ritalin and I take a pretty strong ECA stack. The Jones Soda costs about $2 USD. Might be worth checking out.

thanks for the tips..Scrapper, pardon my ignorance, but what is no2? Finn, ritalin would do it for me as well, and I wouldn't need anything else, however, since I don't have any, I guess I'll try the 10 minutes of light cardio (yuk). I also noticed I was a lot weaker in the a.m compared to the afternoon workouts. Any of you experience this as well? Ughh..morning workouts..

I usually train 1-2 days/week about 6am. In the last week I hit pr's in my bench & deadlift. 335x1 paused for bench & 575x1 for the deadlift. As far as feeling/being weak, I've found that it may be partially mental. Like yourself, I am generally not a morning person. But I'll get up about 1 to 1-1/2 hours earlier for the gym then I do for my job. Part of it may be that I am currently about 12 weeks out from my state pl meet and am really focusing on my training. Ya may want to try rolling back the time of night that you go to bed the night prior to a session. Try to get the same amount of sleep as you would on a normal night.

Yeah the Ritalin helps, but after being on it for years, I really don't 'feel' its effect. When I first started the ECA stack it would make me a bit twitchy, but now I really don't even feel it. Same with caffeine & sugar. I can drink Mountain Dew or cola all day long and not have any jitters. I believe that this is mainly attributed to the brainwave pattern resulting from the ADHD.

i did the exact opposite i was training mainly in the morning for awhile and then they changed my work schedule so i have to be at work at 4:30am.So now i go in the afternoon personally it was easier to do in the morning.Cardio would always do it for me

i would definetly go with the cardio too... feeling weaker in the morning is a matter of your psychological state... just give it some time.. the best thing arnd is throwing in some ephedrine in there... and make sure u get lotsa sleep.. very impt...
