Deadlift workout

deadlifts are a must for thinkness on my frame.
I'm not a wide person but I've got the thickness to make it back up. I always finish up back with deadlifts. I highly recommend it to people like me.

I totally agree. Watch them leave with their asshole hanging out. We had a dude rip is ass from deadlifts. Just going way to heavy and terrible form.

What are the most common mistakes?

My deads off the ground is 385, 5 sets of 5.

I did deads off the pins (between knee and ankle) for 505 3 sets of 3.

I pull with my blades retracted. Is this correct?

For a frame of reference:

I squat 405, 5 sets of 5.

Most common issues I see are:
-rounding of the back/not looking up while pulling
-trying to curl the bar on the way up
-bar too far out in front
-not controlling the weight on the way back down.

Your numbers look pretty good. What's your bw & how long have ya been lifting?

I d/l heavy everyother week.. If I d/l heavy, my squats suffer the next day..

I am certain I am doing it well .. (Tony Kamand happened to be at my gym one time and I asked him if it looked good) ...

Just have one question .. Every time I do it, I get a tension in my neck, upper part of my neck into my lower back of my head.. It just feels tight, for the next day also.. I don't know if I am doing something wrong or what.. ANY IDEAS?

225 for 15 warm-up
315 for 8
