Default what is the best mass building exercise for tri's?

I did some heavy close grip bench presses last night hoping to tear up my tri's, I usually do:

Rope pulldown 4 sets
Behind the head dumbell press 4 sets
straight bar pull down 4 sets
dumbell kickbacks.

Any advice? Thanks.

You can scrap those heres what you need
Close grip bench press
Nose breakers with ez bar
bench dips weighted- set up 2 benches put you feet on one and your palms on the other go down in a dipping motion. I like to set a few plates on my lap and go for 20 reps the have someone take the weight off and go for anonther 10. 3 sets of this at the end of you tricep workout will have you pumped.

I'd advise heavy ass weight, low ass reps. i think pulldowns are just fine for working tris.

I don't work bi's and tris on the same day since it seems one of the muscles will get robbed of being able to do the high weight.

I used to do weighted bench dips, but I didn't think they were adding mass - just definition.

I do tri's on wed and bi's on fri, I divided the 2 for the past year and have added over an inch to my arms. But I need to push my tri's harder.

So close grip press is the best to start with?

yes, followed by skullcrushers/nose breakers.

I've built some thick tri's with only those two movements and some reverse cable extensions here and there. The weighted bench dips are good too, but mess with my shoulder.

Default Or drop all the Tricep exercises...

...and concentrate on Benching more and Dipping with 100+ on the belt.
My Tris never grew as much as when I stopped trying to do "triceps work"

Barbell Push Presses/Military Presses/Close & Flat Bench are all you might need.

Try leaving the "finishing work" out for 6wks.

Bigger...Stronger...Faster...Polish...bronc

My vote goes for skull crushers, super heavy, just dont hurt your elbows. My tris are my best body part, and they used to not be. Now i have 19" arms(good for a guy with my small frame, my wrists are only 6 inches around!) and i credit it all to skull crushers being my main exercise. Do them like arnold says in his encyclopedia, lying and upper arms out above your head at angle, to keep tension on the muscle.-DOC
