rest pause routine

i want to put together a new routine for awhile. after reading the article jjfigure posted it got me thinking & i would like some input. i have never done rest / pause doing singles. being an old bastard my joints dont respond too well on singles. but i would like to put together a rest/pause routine

u can do 2 days on 2 days off
and after 10 weeks take 1 week of of training and let your muscles recover 100% and that will give them a new start once u start working out again
