Has anyone ever tried HST training???

Yep. I did one full cycle and had excellent results. I added more volume to it though, by doing lower body three times a week, and upper body three times, so I was working out 6 days a week. HST works better for men than for women, I've learned. But it's a great program, with hard science behind it.

Its actually a good program to work in once in a while. I liked it, it gave the body a nice rest from the PL styles I ussually use.

I'll probably use the routine soon, but I'll modify it though. The DFHT method looks good too. I have my own thing I do, but I like tinkering around with other methods that look good and making them my own sooner or later.

hey spook, i do the same ( as far as modifications to personal preferance). please share what you come up with, i am interested to see your hst routine

& i just started a HST routine as a maintenance phase before my next cycle last one was a disaster

I'm not sure how I'll try HST yet. Tarzana was the one who got me to look at the routine, but I may tinker with it or the DFHT method. Who knows, I might come up with an all new method called the BMF (Bad Mutha F**ker) method.

I set it up in an excel spreadsheet and modify as needed. I have used it during summer when time is even tighter than norma, and also before I go into a serious power peak program.
