gotcha, why?

cause it keeps me from leaning forward too much.also just a not on the legs together thing.there are different ways to squat myself i prefer to sumo squat i dont care for narrow stance squatting.
But with that said i have a funky knee and when i do squat narrow stance it kills my knee so i choose sumo stance

Yeah... bad knees will keep the legs wide... just no way around it. I find Sumo's tend to really work the inside of my quads hard... and my hip flexors. I have been blessed with great knees and ankles. I think I may the only guy on the boards over 35 that has good knees.
