just got back in the gym....

Well I just got back in the gym this week from a 3 week lay off and I'm SORE as hell. I did quads last weekend and they were sore until this last thursday..lol. :rolleye00 I was literally burned out from lifting mentally and physically and taking off really helped me. My strength went down a bit but nothing major. I lost some size in three weeks but one hard weeks fo training will brought me back up to were I was at . All in all I think 2-3 week layoff did me some GOOD.

Has anyone else experienced this?? How long have you taken off from the gym??

Yup, been there, done that! My time off where due to a planned surgery and then a complication from it. The first time off was 6 weeks, the second was for 9. I trained for about a month in between. It actually did me a world of good. I competed for the first time at the end of that year. But you already read all that..lol..my strength and size came back very quickly. I don't feel that it set me back at all.
