making gains????

I recently emailed one of our great board members and told him that I was not making the gains that I thought that I should be. of course he told me to eat more protein.. sound advice and I will follow it. keep in mind that I eat about 300 grams a day. I am upping my cals for the most part to see what this does.
I have the strength that is not a problem. but my size and weight dont seem to be doing anything out of the ordinary.
my weight is a fact, it is not changing much. but my size is a matter of opinion. I dont feel I am getting any bigger. others do.
so my question is were you guys able to tell a big difference 4 weeks in? did you rely on what others said? what is the meaning of life?

Keep plugging away. With strength comes size. It could also be that you're dropping bodyfat. Without orals, it takes a few weeks for the test to kick in and really see dramatic increases.

What is your daily caloric intake (avg)?

Use a messuring tape. Tape yourself today, and again in a week. Then you don't have to rely on what other's say.

right now I weigh about 235 my waist is 36 inches so I am not skinny

I have decided that I need to up my calories, which means that unless I want to get fat(ter) I need to do some cardio too. I am picking up some cyto gainer tonight.

only 4 weeks in, NO...it will hit you and when it does you will knwo it......at first you might not see the weight because you are loosing BF and it will coem to you bro, I went thru it and still do, my current cycle was about 6 weeks before I gained anything but my pants almost are falling off so don't look at pounds, try inches and BF, that is a true measure there......

As w gains I only know they come SLOWLY. You see and monitor your body every day...... Instead chek it out say on monthly basis . Sometimes a few months may pass and I look at mirror after a workout and see something new coming. Little things . You ( as well as I ) have been in this bb game for guite a while ..... it´s those little details (upper chest , delts ..) that light my days . You must not be in a hurry or too impatient. Do your thing , ask for tips and see what suits for you . Remember how long Deep Thought calculated the answer for the big guestion? She didn´t rush either.....:argh

That's a good point. If you're looking too closely you will miss the changes as they are subtle on a daily basis. Try taking pictures every few weeks so you can see the changes instead of trying to find them on a daily basis in the mirror. You'll also notice changes in the way your clothes fit after a while regardless of what the scale says.

I did try on one of my fave tshirts (if anyone follows my Paintball pics you will see me wearing it) and it is tight on me now. Tight where I want .. Plus a few places I dont want
