Default cardio or no cardio?

I am starting a cutting cycle and I have heard that I should not do cardio while on a cycle because I may lose to much muscle. I have read and heard differing opinions on this. Cardio is not my favorite thing but It seems like I could lose more fat with it. I would like hear some opinions here. Also what kind is best for burning fat?

train 3 days/week

see what the champs do....they train AND do cardio. If the aim is purely lose fat and not build cardio stamina then perhaps the best way would do some low intensy walking , use those fancy cardio machines for at least half a hour at a time. Some bbuilders take a walk every morning wout eating anything ( 1 hour) and then have breakfast and start the day. It would be benefical to do something alike in the evening so the body would burn calories day nŽnite .......
keeping the heart rate around 90-120 per minute would be good for that purpose.IMO

I've recently started doing cardio in addition to my training. The jury is still out. I swore that once I got out of the Marine Corps, I was done with cardio. I was getting tired of being fat&nasty though.

IMO one can dramatically improve weight training by gettin fit cardiowise. You will not get exhausted because of your lunges give up first . also you will recuparate better and faster between sets . besides doing just plain weight training and most of the time for low reps does no good in the long run. add some real cardio in and youŽll get the whole body trained inside out!

I'm gonna have to say that doing 30-45 minutes of cardio in addition to my training has shown some pretty good results. I'm not sure how much I would like it if I was strictly trying to get huge. I'm trying to shoot for more of a balance with bikini season coming up.
