Default Biceps and Triceps lagging behind

I have been lifting really hard for about 6 weeks now and my shoulders and chest and back are coming along but no development in my arms. For my arm workout I try to do 3 bi exercises and 3 tri exercises @ 3 sets of 6-8 of heavy weight. I do this 2-3 times a week. Should I increase my arm workouts to 4 times a week?

never ! I say train them ONCE per week. both get stimulated w back , shoulder and chest work . Overtraining is the biggest mistake one can make. never more than 10 working sets per side of arm . infact 6-8 will do just well.
another thing is for every inch more to arms you must gain certain amount of muscle overall ....they will come .

well Franco Columbu said that in his book Winning Bodybuilding....dunno what he smoked when he took his Mr O titels . Besides have you seen anyone growing just arms if he trained whole body equally?

I thought he only won once.

Not if you trained your whole body equally, but there are a bunch of jackasses at my gym with like no legs and massive arms. They look ridiculous.

(Someone on here is gonna read this and say, "that's me", and go run away and cry. Ha ha.)

This has a lil more focus on the bis but is very effective that i came up with that works for me:
Dont wear straps when working your back.
Dont miss a biceps workout. Consistency is the key!
Straight bar curls 9 sets of 8-10 reps. HEAVY but 8-10 reps. Do these after your back workout.
Set aside another day that you just work arms. Do Tri-sets. Work bi.s with straight bar curls then with no rest do triceps pushdowns then w/o rest do reverse curls for forearms and also hits the biceps as a secondary muscle. Rest 3-5 mins and repeat 3 times for a total of 3 Tri-sets.

i think this is just overtraining i know people who dont even train arms because they get hit with othe exercises

Yea...I listened to those people that said I didnt need to train arms because they get hit with other exercises....I ended up with my arms being overpowered by my back and chest. This routine brought my arms up nicely.
I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND NOT DIRECTLY TRAINING THE ARMS....EVER.
Everybodys different. Im not saying your wrong but I cant get by without directly training my arms. It was a huge mistake for me.
The Tri sets will engorge the whole arms with blood and proper nutrients to support growth as well.
