how much time off to heal is exceptable.i ussually work out mon thru sat then sunday off ,butwhen i miss another day i swear i look better? what gives?

try mon to thursd or friday and weekends off ..... muscles grow only if complete recovery occurs between wouts . try different splits . some recuperate quickier than others .

so even while on gear take weekends off?
what about days you inject sometimes they fall on the days you have off do you still inject then take day off?

Rob some people are fast healers. Me for example I am not. When I do a good workout and get sore, I am sore for a few days before I completly heal. I agree with Hanuri, you should give yourself like Saturday and Sunday off or atleast 2 times a week.

Allowing yourself a day or two days off will result in glycogen restoration and increased anabolism, and will allow hormones such as testosterone and cortisol to return to optimal levels. If you are Injection Testosterone it doesnt mean when you Inject you have to hit the gym the same day. Depending on the Ester of the compound your Injecting blood levels usually start to fall a few days after the Esters Half Life.

Just remember when you are at the gym you are tearing muscle fibers down. When you are resting and sleeping is when you really grow.

This is my workout:

Mon: Chest/Biceps
Tue: Legs/Calves
Wed: Tri's/Back
Thur: Rest
Friday: Cardio
Sat: Legs/Calves
Sun: Rest

Mon Tri/Back
Tue: Legs/Calves
Wed: Chest/Bicep
Thur: Cardio
Friday: Rest
Sat: Tri/Back
Sun: rest

As you can see I switch up what days I work out certain body parts. I also switch up the days I rest on except for sundays. Every month I also switch up what body parts I train together. Some months I just train 1 body part per day.

The point is, is not to get bored with your workouts. Also you want to shock your body by keeping things different. Do your best every month to incorporate new excersies. It's amazing how quickly the body can adapt to a certain routine. Some weeks I only lift 3 times per week, some months I workout 4, or 5 times a week.

Here is my workout

Mon - Heavy Hamstrings, Light Quads
Tue - Rest
Wed - Back and Chest
Thur - Rest
Fri - Heavy Quads, Light Hamstrings
Sat - Arms
Sun - Rest

I am now specializing on my legs and back so I give them Priority. Chest and shoulders are easy for me to develop, so 1 day a week is enough. Abs are done every morning for about 3 minutes of roman chair situps and calves take care of themselves with all the walking and rope skipping I do on the mornings.
