home gym vs. fitness club

I work out at a fitness center.....one that is full of ugly sweaty fat ladies that have no intention of getting healthy, just wanted a place to flap their jowls on cell phones while riding 2.5mph on the recumbent bikes, and drink pepsi to calm their hunger pains while moaning because the workout is so freakin difficult.

I have a BOWFLEX ULTIMATE 2. I had a gym membership for 3 years and it was great. There is NO comparison to going to a REAL gym. Though... in addition to my Bowflex, I have purchased a professional quality Precor Elliptical Trainer and I am about to purchase a complete 'welded-plate' dumbell set with dumbell stands. It'll cost me about $3000.00 from Fitness-Depot but it will be well worth it to have some free weights again.
The Bowflex Ultimate 2 is definately the BEST home gym-type machine I have ever used though.
Also, I was banned from my gym for doing deadlifts nude. (i knew i forgot something that day)

I like to have both options. It is hard to get motivated at home...but it beats waiting on equiptment at the gym.
