what do you bench?

not my movement. best I´ve done was about 2x145 kg , reverse grip ( shoulder prevents normal grip) and legs on bench ( back prevents normal style )...no presser , ever was :doh

When I was in HS i was benching 300. Right now I am hitting up 320-325 x4. Shoulder injuries have brought my bench up and down

Never hit the 325.....IMO, longer arms are a disadvantage....I am 6'2'' and I have long limbs...

I'm only just now doing 300+ again for a single lift after a year and a half back in the gym. Slowly getting back there and looking forward to starting this new cycle. A long way to 400 if I ever will get back there. I doubt it.

OAS if your doing 8 x 300 you should be able to manage 325?

I am 5'8 5'9 and weigh about 200 +/- 3 lbs everyday. I can do 275 around 7-8 times. This thread just peaked my interest I might 1 rep max today and try to hit 320. My goal was to do 350, but that is a ton of weight. Maybe next cycle.

Some recent workouts of mine include: 325x 25 reps total or 5 sets of 5 reps paused 1-2 sec. two days ago pretty easily. Also, did 352.5 for 5 reps a week ago paused 1-2; not to bad. Can do 315x10+reps don't like to go over 10. Have done 275 for 20 reps don't think (I know most weren't) all of those were paused though was screwing around "some speed reps". Current max 415+ raw; will be maxing out for 3 reps and 1 rep max in about 5 weeks--looking for 425 raw. Yes, I'm a short dude so, perhaps that's to my benefit or maybe not?

Some workouts to come are--last 4 weeks: (Fridays): 335x3x3 345x3x3 355x3x3 365x3x3 and (Mondays): 360x3x3 367.5x3x3 375x3x3 385x3x3 or each for 9 reps.

375x3 (co-efficient 1.08)=405
385x3 or 1.08=415.8

These two workouts will put me pretty close to my goal of 425 for 1RM which I plan on testing... 1RM that is :woot

My bench is not my forte....It is more of a pshycological barrier for me to get over 300lb...
