So say Your average joe around here trains 4 days a week. Split routine. Because thats all a non-juicer can do efficiently without having a negative effect on his muscle gain.
So with steroids "souping up" the body, making recovery quicker and enabling it to do things it hasnt done before, surely 4 days just doesnt quite cut it no more? Ive seen people on here mention training 5-6 times a week. Surely thats a bit excessive though? How much does your training regime actually change when your on the gear? |

For me it seems that when I squat and Bench 1 to 2 times per week that I recovery much faster while on gear... when I train squat/bench 2-3 times per week and deadlift it seems that I take "Forever" to recover. The only "DAMN" exercise that slows me down is Deadlifts (still luv 'em)... When my low back is toasted I lose motivation to do squats and so on...

I actually trained more on gear, 5 days a week. Now I cut back my training to 4 days a week and I am seeing way better results. Overtraining is so easy to do. I also agree with adam because my numbers were getting so ridiculous that there is no way you can train 6 days a week. You body will get so wrecked off of 4 days. Especially if you are hitting the compound exercises really hard.

It all depends on your split. If you split properly you can train 6 days per week. Just make sure you are not training body parts to be utilized on consecutive days. You have to feel out your body and test if what you are doing is over training you.

well I must be overtraining even wout this wonderful gear: I train normally 5 x a week. everything gets done once and I like to train only one musclegroup per session. the sxcaption is nightshift ; I have only 4 days to train , so I normally couple back and chest.

Food will make you grow, gear or no gear, but you will not grow without good nutrition. As far as training while on or off, my training stays exactly the same.
