What influenced you to start training??!??!?

ever heard of a builder who thinks he´s ready? I ended up being around 100-105 kg at 182 cm w perhaps 15-20 fat%. that´s what was my genetic ability . no help from the chem side . I wanna be ME.

For me it was all the recent fat jokes and for healthy reasons

Growing up I always wanted to be like Jane Fonda... excuse me I wanted a body like her! At age 12 I had her corny fitness videos and did them pretty religiously in my pre-teens. I had stayed relatively fit up until I got out of the military back in 96 and it took me a couple of years to balloon to obese proportions. One of my family members decided to have "the talk" with me, and from that moment on I made the conscience decision to change my lifestyle not only for myself but for them as well. It has been the most life changing and life saving things I could have ever done. I still have a little way to go in reaching my goal to gracing the stage but I know for sure I'll never go back to being fat and disgustingly unhealthy again. Fitness has me hooked for sure!:woot

A little over a year ago I was fat. About 230lbs with 30% bf. I was a medic to and lifting them fat patients off the floor and having to carry them down the stairs really made think about gaining some more strength. I was also noticing that my blood pressure would spike pretty high and the cholesterol levels were a little bit too elevated. Now I just like the way I am starting to look and feel.

I was sick of being called skinny and getting picked on as a kid. Now im 6'1 and 220 lbs, now no one calls me skinny or pick on me. LOL

Was always active and fit through high school, played sports, then was in the Navy and lifted. After my 4 yrs went back to university and added mountain biking to the lifting. Moved to ******** and started getting lazy/partying too much, stopped exercising for a couple years, got fat and felt old. Then I rediscovered UFC and looked up some of the guys I admired, found out how they ate and trained, and started running, doing sit ups and push ups, and following a healthy diet. Before I knew it started losing fat. Then found a Muay Thai group to join up with and now in the best shape of my life at 35. I feel like a 20 year old again, but with a better mind on me. 5 days a week of running and Muay Thai helped me drop 15 kg in a few months (thats a little over 30 pounds.) Now I've cut the Muay Thai back and added 3 days a week at the gym to boost the strength and size. Life is good

I have a need to be bigger and stronger than everyone else....

when i was little i got kicked to the ground almoust 2-3 times a week by a gang of what i like to call fat kids thats thinks they are though when they are many...
so i started training to be the strongest and biggest..
no im just training to look great...
and maybie one day compete in a BB contest<3
