just finished cycle and had hand injury

Well I just finished up a 12week test/deca/prop cycle, and on my last week of injections I had a little brawl at the local pub. Long story short got 20 stiches to my left hand. Its been almost two weeks since the injury and I get the stiches out in a couple days. My question is has anyone had similar injuries to thier hands and when did they start working out again. I dont want to go to the gym and have my skin rip apart that would totally blow!. never had stiches before and dont know how long I am gona be out of the gym for. No muscle or tendon damage, just cut the fatty part of my hand

Any advice from any of the bros would be greatly appreciated. At least I finshed my cycle before this happened.

In case your wondering about the brawl. This guy was beating up his girlfriend in the pub, and I stepped in to help her. I was hit with a broken bottle over my hand. So much for chivalry. No one should beat on a woman.

20 stitches is allot of stitches. the fatty part of your hand so i am guessing the outside of your palm right? your hand won't flex like your bicep so i would think that your ok as long as you can open and close your hand with no problem. if your really concerned about it ask the doc when he takes them out he will prob. say wait a couple days

Find the SOB and take care of em when you are all healed up. I know I would.

Thanks for the info, yeah it was the fatty part of the palm so I guess it should be fine, just hate being out of the gym for so long. Last couple of days it has been getting a lot better, so once the stiches are out I will take it easy and see how it goes.

As for the guy, heard he got picked up later that night by the cops for beating his ol lady. Ha! hope his butt gets a work out in jail.

i got 12 or so stitches on my thumb, was out of the gym for 3 months, i used the time to get my bodyfat down

Damm Willy thats a long time to be out for 12 stiches on the thumb. Did you cut any tendons or sever any nerves. I figured I'd be out for maybe 3 weeks. Guess everybody heals different. I had shoulder surgery few years back and was out of the gym for 4 months, but was 100% by month 5. Did you do any therapy for the hand?

was a bit of muscle that got cut aswell as fat. I could of lifted but I couldnt of give it 100% so I just made sure it was fully healed before grabbing any heavy weights I didnt do any therapy, still do this day my grip on my left hand is a bit weaker
