Default Sore Joints

Guys, I am having some serious problems. About a week ago I started getting really sore joints. Mostly my elbows and shoulders actually only in those places. This pain is unbearable and I have never had this issue before. I lift heavy and work my a** off in the gym, but I started going light because of this damn joint pain. I am going to make a doc's appointment just to see what's up but I am sure that someone on here has a remedy.... I researched the hell out of this and all I have come up with is Glucosamine and multi-vitamins. I take animal pak so I don't think that the vitamin would be an issue. I start my cycle in two weeks and want to be 100% for it. Any suggestions?

There are many cures from many different people.............I always warm up really good and I always wrap up when going heavy.............I use 225 when doing skull crushes on the reverse grip bar and sometimes, my elbows do the same shit. It may be the weight, it may be an injury, it may be many things but it sounds like the weight and maybe a form issue. This is another reason why we try to get people to build a solid base before drugs are initiated because your body is not used to dealing with the kind of weight you are moving...........Make the appointment but he is probably gonna tell you to ease up..........you can always try some sort of anti inflammatory like Aleve. It is Naproxen Sodium which is the generic form of Naprosyn.........it's just dosed a little softer.

Ah, no worries, I assumed as much. I think it's just the added weight. I have been lifting for a long time and never had this issue. I am not on any gear (yet) so it's not from that. I just think its from not letting myself rest enough. Thanks for the info para much appreciated as always.

Also keep an eye on your form. When you lift heavy it is so much easier to let form slide and this is when injuries can easily occur. Lift heavy BUT within yourself to a degree to enure your not going to injure yourself. Sometimes you need to check the ego at the door.

How old are you gradian, eventually the everyday wear an tear of lifting will catch up on you. last year I was getting some real pain in the right shoulder and thought it was a shoulder injury. turned out to be a small tear on the top of my bicep muscle wear it connects up near the shoulder. took a few weeks off from any upper body lifting and all was good. I use glucosamine also and when I start getting some real joint pain I take some time off from lifting. I think a lot of people are afraid to take some time off, myself I find every 2 or 3 months a good week or two off from lifting works wonders.

My elbows hurt too but unless it's like really, really bad pain I just bear through it and it goes away when i'm done. As far as the shoulder pain I can't harp on this enough i've had probs before and had to see a physical therapist. But do your rotator cuff exercises. Your other muscles get so much stronger faster and your rotator cuff muscles can't handle it and it will hurt, and will eventually cause an injury.
