Rowing?

Has anyone had any experience with rowers? If so, what did you think of the workout? Thanks.

I'm way into kayaking! I think its a great upper body cardio workout. I'll do a standard paddle for 12-15 mins and than reverse row for the same amount of time.

For several months now I have been using a rower at home, the Kettler Coach. I have been very pleased with it. It is a great way to do cardio while also working the upper body. I just wish it had a higher resistance setting. I am already up to the maximum 10 setting. Is there any way to increase the resistance further, I wonder? If I need to get a different machine, can anyone recommend one with higher resistance settings?
