biceps still sore

hay guys i worked out my biceps and triceps on monday night and my biceps are still a bit sore not killing but they still feel a bit weak.

should i work them or should i wait?

Try a lighter weight at higher reps. Gets the blood flowing for recovery.

ill work them light tonight and let u know how i go. really want to have big workout on friday to give the dody couple days to recover

What's today? Tuesday? Or perhaps Wednesday where you are? How often do you train arms? Just curious.

only just started out so trying to work them every couple days is this 2 much?

I think maybe so... Do you train other body parts or just arms? Because your arms will get some work from training back and chest. And you really should train legs once a week or you won't get anywhere.

You shouldn't hit any body part more than 1x per 5 days. Anything more and you need to have the genetic potential to compete with Jay or Ronnie (if you had that potential, you wouldn't be here).

I will say two things:

First it sounds as though you are overtaining

Second it is very possible your diet is not good. If you are eating correctly recovery is much better.

What if you don't have the tools or essentials for other parts? For instance I'm laid off right now, no gym, so all I got is food 40lb dumbell 35lb and 30lb ones also and 2 full five gallon buckets full of exterior paint not to sure but I think they weigh bout 70 or more lbs a piece I use for shrugs and overhead press. So I can't really do a whole lot of variety excrcises that I know of
