Question about Head Blades

Ric, I shave my head too. I bought a Head Blade a couple of years ago. I was dissappointed with the type razor blade that I had to put on it. I think it had to be a Gillette twin or something. I had a hard time finding those blades for one, and for two, I ****ped the hell out of my head trying to use it. Have there been many improvements to the design in say the last two years? Specifically, do they use a different type of blade? Any tips on using it? I would have to buy another one because I just kind of abandoned the one I bought.

Razor´s Edge is the name brolly! Good ol´Gilette 3 does the job.....

I think they're using a gilette 3 now. I have no problem at all with it. Email the owner Todd Green which is todd@headblade.com and tell him what you told me and that you're a friend of mine. He most likely will send you the new one and package. But use my name. I use the headblade everyday.

I thought this was going to be a question about wrestlers blading. Maybe I should make a new thread.

Blade Job in the business was a well guarded secret for years and that was one of the great mysterys of the business. Like everything else, expose's ruin the fun of it all. I"m an 'old school' wrestler. You had to be beliveable and sell. Today, no one sells and most don't even know 3 wrestling holds.

When I was asked if it was 'real' blood. The answer was yes, of course. We NEVER used blood caps of fake blood. That was a huge NO NO with 'old school' and blood was drawn very sparingly and only for main events.

A small piece of razor blade was either taped to a finger or hidden under the tongue. When the moment came for blood in a match, it was taken and a small slit across the forehead was done. The blood mixed with sweat looked like a gallon and sold the match.

With the threat of 'aids' blood was removed from most matches but I see now today many use it again. Anything over used such as a 'Blade Job' looses it's affect on the public. Like anything else, too much of anything, you become mundane over it.

I liked it better back then when it meant more money in a match.
