The field is so weak IMO its a tough call.

All I can think of is the Klistscho(SP) and Lennox Lewis. And IMO I still wouldnt pay per view for it.

Im watching ESPN Classic and they have a 1991 bout with Holyfield (Champ) and Foreman....this is a great fight so far...into the 5th round.

It seems as if boxing is dying in the states, that MMA will be the new boxing, atleast in America. I think that even with an emergence of a dominant American in HW or in boxing besides the Golden Boy, that it may be too late, atleast here.

Whereas MMA is usually non-stop action and growing very quickly in the states. My opinion is that people like to relate, and its hard for many to relate to a Mexican born flyweight.

Globally boxing still reigns supreme in alot of Latin and former USSR countries. Maybe its the politics in American boxing that is killing it off here...or perhaps the huge tv contracts with HBO/Showtime, that people won't spend the money every month to subscribe to, either way, its sad, because boxing is truly an awesome display of some serious athletes.

As for Holyfield most Doctors dont want him tio even fight anymore....if ya hear him talk he sounds like his speech is slow and drawn out bad from when he first started.
