well UFC bought pride and gutted it (essentially closing it dont at this point), so, the same thing happened to 'pro' wrestling. WWF (now WWE) bought WCW and that hardcore wrestling show (cant remember the name)

basically, 1 co. sucks now, no competition = no good fights
UFC is boring, PRIDE was exciting

I hope K-1 heros can do something besides freak shows for MMA...

I agree, any time the big boy buys up the competition, the quality goes down quickly. That is one of the reasons I have been watching the Vs. Channel and IFL lately. The have up and commers getting out there and putting on some really good fights. Unfortunately for you Mr X, the HW's are lagging behind the MW, LW, & LHW's.
