I have always been a huge fan of his philosophies and just him in general. He was an amazingly extraordinary human being.

After discussing Bruce Lee on another board I have come to the conclusion that he is overrated and his legend benefited greatly from his early demise.

I just think the guy is overrated. It's not his fault he never fought anyone (because there was nobody to fight back then) but because he never did he doesn't belong in any discussions about modern MMA.

To say that he would get beat by a current MMA fighter is wrong, because you would have add his progression as a fighter which can't happen. Totally different time frames. It's like saying Wilt Chamberlin couldn't hold his own against shaq in the paint. The NBA has changed and players have adapted so there's really no way that you could match them. Bruce Lee was probably the first to invent MMA being that he studied so many different things. I don't know just my two cents.
