I can't beleive nobody has posted this yet...

Renato Sobral won his fight last weekend against David Heath by an anaconda choke, however when David Heath tapped Babalu held on to the choke; looking the ref in the eyes. David Heath was subsequently choke unconsious. Sobral has had his contract with the UFC terminated.

There is huge outrage from Sobral fans (me included) that he was so harshly punished. After all BJ Penn did a similar thing recently to Jens Pulver and nothing happened to Penn.

Note: I really don't think there would have been such an uproar if it wasn't for that walking testicle Joe Rogan (or how ever you spell his name.) and his crying at the end of the fight.

If anything the ref should/could have stopped the fight based on the amount of blood, but they are saying it was not interferring with Heath's sight...

I don't know why I like Sobral, I just do and have for years. I remember watching him fight in these shitty little rings in the middle of the Brazilian jungle when it was 110 with the humidity.

I think he was looking for a way out of the UFC or visa versa and now everyone seems pissed but Babalu and the UFC.

I agree. I remember watching that fight, and thinking what the ****. Shows the lack of respect he has for other fighters, and for himself.
