yo bro, it's K-1 sponsored but K-1 MMA (i.e. K-1 HEROs)...I think M-1 global is not organized to do a HUGE show in Japan yet so they are co-producing with K-1.

The fight is, of course, MMA...

actually, it's just K-1 in Asia and UFC in USA...really not much of a selection.

M-1 global is just an "up and coming" MMA org.

Yeah M-1 is a brand new organization but it looks like they plan on bein pretty big, kinda like the next Pride maybe, because they been throwin a SHITload of money around trying to get some big name fighters. They even offered Randy Couture $1million OVER what the UFC pays him to fight Fedor, damn i'd love to see that fight happen.

Pride had about 100mil start up capital I believe...M-1 is backed by billionares, so probably about 250mil (banking investments too) is in the company. It will be big once it holds it's own shows in Japan.
