What I want to see is Wanderlei Silva vs. Forrest Griffin, and the winner to face Chuck Liddell for the title. (obviously this would be Wanderlei vs. Chuck II). Well you seem to forget that when silva won over Jackson over at pride jackson was sparring with ju jutsu guys, And he wasent a complete fighter, But now, The new jackson could KO anybody.

Silva lost 3 fucking matches in a ROW, He needed the Jardine fight or silva was ready to retire once and for all. This is a new proved Jackson, belive me, I like Silva more, but I think jackson have a big chance to drop Silva down.

That's the excuse Jackson made...remember, Jackson fought in K-1 before PRIDE, so let's not make this a stand up issue. Jackson always had weak legs (Forrest proved that) and weak defense for MT. I don't see the need for Rampage vs. Wandy III, it's just going to be another slaughter.

Wandy did lose 3 matches, but the 1st lost was to a PRIME heavyweight, Cro Crop (at that time Cro Cop was ranked #2-3 HW in the WORLD), then to Henderson, but during the Hendo fight (this is fact) he had a fever of over 101F and still fought. That's right, the guy had to sign a waiver to fight in that condition. PRIDE needed the main even so they pushed him. His loss vs. Chuck Liddell was a true war and that's a decision loss. Everyone thought that fight was Wandy being careful and not as aggressive, but with Jardine he's back to his old self.

You are correct about some stuff.

But dont forget that Rampage has gotten better then the old Rampage who was in Pride, His punching skills are faster and better. I think if he and Silva fought, then he would have a big chans of winning, He got better punching skills then Silva, Silva dont have any good technique in his punching, He just swings his arms like a wild animal and hoping for some of that swinging to land.

But, Silva is better in the clinch and the take downs.

Jardine's leg kicks are like flea bites.. jk.. yeah, if jardine's don't work i can't see forrest's leg kicks doing much damage..

i don't know if i'd care to see forrest and silva.. like you said, i think silva would just take it over.. i don't know how good a match that would be, other than for Silva just to get the belt.. no matter who forrest beats i just think that level is too stacked to keep it.. with Liddell, Jackson, Shogun, Silva, etc etc etc.. i don't think forrest won't have it very long..

I want to see Forrest vs. Silva purely based on MMA standards...Forrest did NOT win against Rampage and needs to be taught a lesson, and Wandy needs a rematch vs. Chuck. Somehow I see a rematch jackson vs. griffin within the next year.

I just head that Forrest Griffin agreed right after his win to face Rampage Jackson again in a rematch for the title....but, Dana White will probably not let it happen, he wants to feed Griffin to Chuck!

that would be a better strategy for Dana than forrest and Rampage again.. Have Forrest fight Chuck, Chuck wins then have the Chuck and Rampage match again... now THAT would be a fun one to watch again IMO even though they've already fought a couple times...
