    Shovel, its killin me bro, does that go away after a few weeks?
    I hurt now, how much rest do you take between sets? how long are you in the gym?

    Do you take a few days off a week?
    Im only doing 500mg sust, might have to up the dose....

    haha she emailed me and called me crazy....! i guess she gets it now

    so im to do a split day!
    Back in the morning, bicept in the evening
    Chest in the morning, tricept in the evening
    Legs in the morning and shoulders in the evening...

    that might help.

    I'm in the gym bout an hour. Rest about a minute between. I go eod and sometimes skip 2 days.

    I'm not a fan of splitting em up cause your working muscles twice that way.

    Shovel, how do you mean working muscles twice?

    I guess if your doing chest, then tris in the after noon, your tris get worked in the chest workout?

    Yes, your triceps will be used in any pushing motion with the arms, especially and chest movements. If you split chest and tri's in the same day dif times you will be confusing the shit out of them.

    I have worked hard on my workout routine and feel it gives all the muscles good opp to grow without over working them.

    Mon - Chest & Shoulders
    Tue - Back & Traps
    Wed- Off
    Thur - Legs & Abs
    Fri - Biceps & Tri's
    Sat -Off
    Sun - Off

    Mon - Chest and shoulders make sense to me as you use the shoulders a lot in bench. Also by doing tri's on Fri it gives plenty of time to rest. Friday's workout is only 2 sets for each group as in my first week of training this way, I found by Fri my bi's and tri's were still recovering a little from the previous Mon & Tues workouts. I focus on intensity and lifting very heavy in the 6-10 rep range.

    With all that being said chest & Tri's together also make sense as well as back & bi's.

    Just like DD said. That's one of the main reasons I do decline for bench mostly, so I'm not over doing my shoulders too. It's pretty hard to isolate the bigger muscle groups. That's why the bosshogg type style is so effective.

    IT makes sense, but I am going to stick to the prescribed method for 3 months then see how its going, I have already put on 11 pounds.

    Weight today: 224

    Will look at the boss hog routine again too, i liked it.

    I like my training split much better, you get reast between body parts.
    Monday chest, shoulders
    Tuesday - legs
    Wednesday - rest
    Thursday arms bi's and tri's
    Friday rest
    Saturday - dead lifts, rows
    Sunday rest

    Did 40 mins of stairs yesterday, legs were in bad shape. Not enough recovery time.
    Going to attempt shoulders again today and see how that goes.
    Tried them yesterday and couldn't put out 6 reps at 55 on dumbbell shoulder press. Switched to cardio.
