if you want to know your real bp it needs to be taken correctly and over the course of the day.. not just once by some nurse
This is completely right. If you have large arms the blood pressure machine will give an artificially high reading.
In the mean time:
1. Make sure you are drinking sufficient water (5-6L per day minimum) and watch your sodium intake.
2. Follow a diet low in saturated fat and simple sugars and increase your omega 3 fatty acid intake.
3. Perform cardiovascular work MINIMUM 3x per week.
