I would suggest taking a whole week off from lifting and dieting. Your body has adapted to what your doing. You need rest. Eat what ever you want. You might be surprised that when you go back your even stronger than before. If your not don't worry. Another thing you can do is after you get back into it is to start at a weight you can do 10 reps with and each week increase the rep by one and keep doing it until you get to 20 reps and then increase the weight to a point you can get out 8 reps and then keep increasing reps each week.

What Mr.X said about the not genetically prone to growth comment has me curious. How might one figure out whether this is the case? Is it just a matter of doing all the "right things" and a person still isn't growing that this is the problem?

good example is you've been 6'1 120lbs. your whole life, take things into prospective and you can see your genetic potential

that's what i was thinking...have you thought about maybe taking a little time off? i've found when i get stuck, usually taking a week off/getting extra sleep/eating a bit more does the trick

    Thumbs up

first, U hav NOT maxed out. after 5 yrs nobody is maxed out , not if they try to learn more and more about training . eating , resting the works. Most likeky u need a new start , a whole different approach to training and perhaps eating too. But as SYL said , more info about your training ( training splits , reps , sets etc) and diet is seriously needed. after that u can bet u´ll get as much advice you´ll ever need. So don´t be upset , nothing is lost but all to gain! You´ve already taken the first and important step ; realized the state u are and ASKED for help. So tell more about your training and these fellas can solve all your problems ( at least give helpful suggestions) in no time. Btw I appreciate u for being drug free. It´s not that usual these days...
Anyway , you´re in good hands here!
