Talking My journey into COMPETING AND WINNING!!!!

Here is my journal to go from fat to fit

    Introduction
I'm currently in College and will be graduating in 2 years YAH I can't wait. Since most days I'm in school from 8-3pm Its so hard for me get all my meals in on those days. I know I need to plan well. Going to the gym and working out has never been a problem......it the nutrition that kills me and I believe that Nutrition is at least 80% of your results.

I will post a picture of me. UGH its an embarrassing picture but atleast I know once I get 100% dedicated that that my before picture will be nothing but history.
The current picture of me is embarrassing....but it motivates me more to just do what I have to do.

    I currently weigh 165
    BF 34%
    Measurements are as follows
    Chest 48
    Biceps 12
    U. Thigh 21.2
    Admonial 40
    Neck 13.5
    Calves 13.5

I got this from another forum that I visit. And Im going to incorporate the training for thenext 5 weeks and then change it up.

    MOnday
    Upper Day 1
    Heavy Horizontal Push/Pull
    Light Vertical Push/Pull

    Tuesday
    Quad Dom Lower Body
    Heavy Quad
    Light Hams
    Calves/Abs

    Thursday
    Upper Day 2
    Heavy Vertical Push/Pull
    Light Horizontal Push/Pull

    Saturday
    Ham Dom Lower Body
    Heavy Ham
    Light Quad
    Calves/Abs

    Side Notes
Horizontal Push - think chest work
Horizontal Pull - think mid back work (rows, etc)

Vertical Push - think shoulder work (for the most part)
Vertical Pull - think lat work (pull ups, etc)

So back is split up into two different 'bodyparts' - lats and midback are treated separately.

You can ensure, assuming it's set up properly that volume is balanced across the planes of movement

    Cardio Plans are as follows
    Sunday........HIIT & 45mins of Evening Cardio
    Monday...... 45mins AM/PM Cardio
    Tuesday.......30mins Cardio after lifting
Wednesday......Morning Intervals + 40 mins of Steady State Cardio
    Thursday.......45mins of AM/PM Cardio
Friday ...........HIIT & Kickboxing class in the evening
    Saturday..........YAH NO CARDIO

Hang in there and give it your best shot. Remember that Rome wasn't built in a day. The best thing is that you are working at it and with dedication and not giving up, you'll succeed. Also, I know what you mean about college hindering your time to do what you want, but college is very important as well. You are young and have all the time in the world.

I ended up losing 60 pounds while I was at college, so it's definitely possible if you put your mind to it.

I have a bro name Cliff who trains at Main Event Fitness in ATL. He's one of my fellow competitors. Perhaps he, or someone he knows can guide you on your way. PM me if you like and I'll give you my name and stuff so drop it, if/when you call him.

Diet and training look pretty good. Go with it for a few weeks and check your results.

Dedication and determination is what you need to succeed! Stay strong in your mind and don't let little setbacks get you off track.
