    Default Chocolate Peanut Butter shake.

    I hate plain whey shakes. They taste like ass and are very barebones when it comes to nutrition. Here's a most nutrient dense shake I often have.


    1 cup chocolate "Carb Countdown" Dairy Beverage {it's a low carb milk. Great if you can find it, if not, just use regular or 2% chocolate milk}
    1/2 cup of 2% cottage cheese
    2 Tbsp peanut butter
    1.5 cups of ice
    Splenda to taste

    Mix it in a blender for a minute and drink it. You could toss some whey in there also if you want more protein/calories.

    Calories: 400
    Protein: 35g
    Carbs: 17
    Fat: 23g

    The CC actually adds a nice creaminess to the shake. It's good!

    Adding cottage cheese to chocolate milk seems like a great idea. Thanks for the tip.
