Thread: Pre workout

    Just wondering if any of you guys/girls have any natural alternatives for a pre workout? I don't use any preworkout supps mostly because the I don't respond well to caffeine. I usually have a meal and sometimes a berocca but finding it hard to fund enough energy for a workout during the days. I think the heat here in Adelaide atm has had a lot to do with it also.

    We just got blasted with 10 inches of snow today. Single digit temps for the next 2 days. If it's heat that just kicked in then it definitely will take it out of you. Makes you go to bed early too if you're in it all day until your body adjusts. I don't use supps just good food. Ephedrine will give you a boost if you can handle it. Good luck!

    no shit, quite the opposite here haha we've probably had the hottest summer here that I can remember, we had one day that reached 46c (114f) and most of the days have been 30c ( 86f ) or over. It's mainly my chest sessions that i'm worried about. I'm strong when it comes to back and legs, but chest is a muscle I struggle with and putting in a shit chest session is just going to throw me off.

    While in the sandbox, supps were a big no-no especially for us in the medial corps who did the downrange drug testing for the troops. We got around it by doing B-vitamin cocktails with IV Epi and a Banana Bag. When we went further into the Suck a lot of us switched over to Coco-B's which was pure Cocoa powder and sublingual B-12/B complex. The Cocoa has a nominal amount of caffeine and in powder form you could kinda pack it like chew with the B-Vitamin mix to sustain the release then gulp it down with some water. The taste sucks but what else is new.

    im caffeine sensitive too, but have noticed my tolerance as of late building up. typically i drink black coffee and take cialis as my preworkout. try sipping some coffee and see how that fairs, just a little at a time.

    I take GAT pre workout. For me it gives you a real good feeling wicked pump and not at all wirey. All you so is start with a half of scoop. It's it to much use less to build up your tolerance.

    I actually don't want anything to do with caffeine. I first quit smoking because I was having pain around the heart area. After quitting for months the pain got worst and couldn't figure out why, until I relised it was the caffeine, replacing a coffee with my nicotiene cravings. It also triggers my anxiety, and that is the last thing I want before training.

    Try magnum opus, no caffine at all. I use it to cycle off pre workout with caffine in it. Works pretty good too.

    I use Nitraflex pretty regularly. C4 is overrated, but has great marketing. PWO is a good investment too, because there's so much science backing the ingredients.

    Look for one with caffeine, beta alanine, and some other nitric oxide precursors.
