Yes, after squats to finish off the hams and glutes. Usually in sets of 8-12. I do them on an 8" box and touch the bar on my shoelaces. Opinions vary on how far to go down, but this is what I like. Stiff leg deads, to me, are more of an accessory movement done with lighter weights and targeted right at the hams. Conventional and trap bar deads are heavy, compound exercises.
